2. Fill with undiluted white vinegar

2. Descale with white vinegar soak

Fill the tank halfway with undiluted white vinegar and shake it vigorously. Let it soak for a full 30-60 minutes. For stubborn scale, soak overnight. The vinegar breaks down calcium and magnesium deposits that water alone cannot.

3. Clean the base unit
